Mesh networking with the power of Bluetooth technology

The Bluetooth® mesh networking specifications define requirements to enable an interoperable many-to-many (m:m) mesh networking solution for Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) wireless technology—ideally suited for control, monitoring, and automation systems where tens, hundreds, or thousands of devices need to reliably and securely communicate with one another.

Mesh Networking Specifications

  • Mesh Profile: Defines fundamental requirements to enable an interoperable mesh networking solution for Bluetooth® LE wireless technology
  • Mesh Model: Introduces models, used to define basic functionality of nodes on a mesh network
  • Mesh Device Properties: Defines device properties required for the Mesh Model specification

The documents in the “Informative document showing changes” column are provided as a courtesy to help readers identify changes between two versions of a Bluetooth specification. When implementing specifications, use the adopted versions in the “Adopted Version” column.
