This document specifies the profile for the Generic Health Sensor (GHS). The Generic Health Sensor Profile (GHSP) specifies how to use the Generic Health Sensor Service (GHSS) to communicate health-related observations from different types of Personal Health Devices (PHDs) and of other Generic Attribute Profile (GATT) services to support the exchange of device information, battery, and power status information, and how a device can be used by multiple users. The profile enables new Bluetooth-based sensor types to be added to a healthcare infrastructure without the need to update the infrastructure.
