The Common Audio Service (CAS) is used to identify a server supporting the Common Audio Profile (CAP) Acceptor role. If an instance of Coordinated Set Identification Service (CSIS) is included in the CAS definition, CAS identifies that the device is part of a Coordinated Set.
This Errata Correction is mandatory when claiming compliance to Common Audio Service:
- Errata Correction 18666 changes the compatible Core Specification version from Version 5.3 to Version 5.2, because the features introduced in Version 5.3 are not required for the implementation of CAS.
