Test your Bluetooth® technology products against other unreleased and unannounced products and prototypes coming soon.

UPFs are nonprofit interoperability testing events the Bluetooth SIG offers as an added benefit to members. Interoperability of Bluetooth products on the market is critical to the success of the technology so we work very hard to make sure everything just “works” for consumers. 

UPFs provide an opportunity to connect, test and debug your devices while discussing issues with other companies, Bluetooth® engineering teams and networking with other developers with similar interests. Test with up to 30 different platforms across many different industries from well-known companies to start-ups, you get to meet face-to-face in a confidential environment with developers, testers and engineers to test your devices, expose and investigate bugs, while testing fixes in real-time to ensure interoperability.

Registration will open in late November 2017.

Participant fees cover access to the testing room, plus breaks and lunch on all testing days, and a social reception on Tuesday evening.  Registration is open to all levels of membership.

Step one: Register as a participant and pay the event fee.  Each person attending must register as a participant and must be associated with a platform.  Multiple people can be associated with one platform.

Step Two: Register your platform and select the capabilities that your device supports. Each device that is being tested must register as a platform.

Hotel Reservations

UPF 59 will take place at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver.

Guest rooms booked via UPF registration include daily continental breakfast and free access to in-room high speed internet. The negotiated rates below are valid only by booking guest room(s) through UPF registration.

  • Single Occupancy: $235 CAD, + state/local taxes and fees 17.5%

  • Double Occupancy: $265 CAD, + state/local taxes and fees 17.5%

If you do not reserve a hotel room through UPF registration, a $450.00 USD surcharge will be added to the registration fees. This surcharge will apply to all UPF and special event only registrants not booking a hotel room through registration, including local event attendees.  

 


All participants must agree to the Bluetooth Interoperability Test Session Participation Agreement.
