On November 6, 2025, the Wi-Fi Alliance and the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance issued an open letter expressing concerns of the prioritization of the 6425-7125 MHz (upper 6 GHz) band for use by mobile networks at the forthcoming RSPG Plenary on November 12th. Bluetooth SIG shares those concerns and strongly supports license-exempt access to the upper 6 GHz frequency band to foster innovation and coexistence across wireless technologies.
