Recently, we provided some early news about new Bluetooth® Mesh Networking innovations on display at Light + Building. This year, attendees had an opportunity to see firsthand why Bluetooth Mesh Networking is poised to be the clear choice for powering smart lighting and smart building services. A new range of Bluetooth products that integrate lighting and networked building services were on display.

- Osram provides first insight into innovations for Light + Building. Osram is using Bluetooth technology to track medical equipment and beds in real time using beacons integrated into the lighting infrastructure. Read more.
- Silvair joins forces with manufacturers to enter the lighting ecosystem driven by Bluetooth Mesh Networking. Silvair, in partnership with several industry leaders, brings components and products for smart lighting infrastructures in commercial spaces. Read more.
- Gira combines lighting and shade with System 3000 kit. Gira introduced its System 3000 blind controller, which now includes Bluetooth technology. Read more.
- Intersec Forum Focuses on Connected Security in Buildings at Light + Building 2018. New solutions showcased include Frogblue’s presentation of a system that communicates via Bluetooth Low Energy. Read more.
- AirGlow LumenRadio brings the future of light controls to Light + Building. This multi-standard lighting control solution is compatible with Bluetooth Mesh Networking. Read more.
