We are looking for a business analyst to join a solid product management function that is growing into a world-class discipline. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will contribute to a team of senior and junior product managers, business analysts and user experience designers. Responsibilities

Product Research

  • Perform product research to assist with identifying business needs
  • Evaluate data collected through stakeholder interaction, task analysis, business processes, business intelligence, analytics, surveys and workshops to enable data-informed decisions
  • Align with product manager to understand business goals, product roadmap, and epic priorities
  • Contribute to technology solutions to achieve product and business goals
  • Review technical solutions to ensure the business requirements and long term product goals are being met

Product Documentation

  • Perform business process modeling to document the process flow of a product(s)
  • Document business rules to capture the expected behavior of a product(s)
  • Prepare accurate and detailed functional/non-functional requirement specifications
  • Document business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories for the delivery team

Product Delivery

  • Directly responsible for delivery of a product(s) as per the roadmap – with quality, on budget, and on time
  • Triage user feedback to classify in alignment with defined procedures
  • Ensure stories within the product backlog are groomed for upcoming sprints, including user story and acceptance criteria creation
  • Work in close collaboration with product management, user experience and engineering teams throughout the product life cycle
  • Build relationships and work with cross-functional teams to drive products from inception to launch

Developer Relations Engineer

We are looking for a Developer Relations Engineer - North America who is passionate about technology evangelism and software development to help us grow the awareness, understanding and adoption of Bluetooth technology in developer communities. You will be part of Bluetooth SIG’s developer relations team which consists of a global, energetic, and enthusiastic group of software developers that speak at events, write articles, blog posts and technical papers, conduct webinars and create educational kits that help developer communities better understand Bluetooth technology and all of its possibilities. You and your team play an instrumental role in building and nurturing a vibrant developer community that is passionate about Bluetooth technology.

The right candidate will have a deep passion and appreciation for software development, the Internet of Things, vertical markets and consumer devices of all types. You will represent the Bluetooth SIG by speaking at the most prominent industry events and as well as in smaller meetings with decision makers and developers. So the candidate will possess excellent communication skills that will allow them to engage hundreds of people at once or drive in-depth discussions with senior technical leaders.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Engaging with developers to evangelize Bluetooth technology and help drive the expanding wave of innovative Bluetooth-enabled products and solutions.
  • Presenting at conferences, hosting webinars and creating cool content and demos to help developers get up to speed fast on Bluetooth development.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for our training and other internal teams to create more effective tools and processes for helping Bluetooth developers.
  • Interact with developers and use their feedback to help grow and improve the engagement with each development communities.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of mobile/embedded software development experience working in multiple hands-on roles.

You need to be able to mentor the team members on best practices and you need to be able to actually do the work as a individual contributor.

After 20 years of technology innovation, we need some process innovation, process reengineering and application of best practices. So we are looking for an experienced program leader to own, drive and transform this core business-critical program.

As Program Director of Specification Program, you have the opportunity to significantly impact the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the process and operations that deliver the Bluetooth specifications to the global Bluetooth community. You will lead the growing specification creation operation and efforts to reengineer processes and drive improvements to operations and tools.
