Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology 2018

Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology (SIBT) held its 12th edition on 03-05 September 2018 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). 

The Bluetooth SIG was the 2018 Official Show Supporter. 

The SIG teamed up with the organization to hold a 1.5-hour Bluetooth session to talk about Bluetooth in smart building vertical on 3rd September at SIBT.  Lori Lee, Senior Regional Marketing Manager, APAC, Bluetooth SIG, spoke under the theme of “ The Expanding Role of Bluetooth in Smart building”.

Kai Ren, Developer Relations Manager, APAC, Bluetooth SIG, talked about advancements in beacon technology and location services along with a technology update in a speech titled “ Bluetooth mesh – Paves the way for Smart building”.  Later, they both discussed how to join the Bluetooth SIG and how to get involved in the Bluetooth specification development with the event audience.
