The SMAhome event has evolved into Asia’s first event for the “Smart Building Internet of Things” (SMABIoT) market segment. The new event will focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence solutions that enable a true IoT environment for buildings.

The Bluetooth SIG participated in a forum at the event titled “New applications of Smart Building from wireless transmission and wiring system.” Within the forum, there was a Bluetooth session titled “Bluetooth – Making Intelligent Building Automation at Scale a Reality.”  The session covered how new Bluetooth features are enabling use cases in the smart building market.

Kai Ren, Bluetooth SIG Developer Relations Manager, APAC, and Lori Lee, Bluetooth SIG Senior Regional Marketing Manager, APAC, presented at the event along with two Bluetooth SIG member companies, Askey and Silicon Labs.

The Bluetooth SIG was also a sponsor of the event.
