Riken Sangyo and GN Hearing Japan Auracast™ theater event

The Auracast™ theater event is an experiential event jointly organized by Riken Sangyo and GN Hearing Japan, designed to enable hearing aid users, their families, and friends to enjoy movies together beyond differences in hearing ability.

Prior to the movie screening, a panel discussion will be held to explore the possibilities of Auracast™ from multiple perspectives. During this discussion, Japanese- and English-speaking panelists from Japan and overseas will talk about the future of hearing enabled by Auracast™. Lori Lee, Bluetooth SIG senior director, APAC and China, will join representatives from hearing aid manufacturers and hearing care retailers to share their expectations for Auracast broadcast audio’s broader social adoption and discuss its value for people regardless of hearing condition.

The panel discussion will feature simultaneous interpretation, with audio delivered via Auracast™. Participants will be able to select either Japanese or English audio channels according to their preference and listening needs, allowing them to experience firsthand the accessibility, flexibility, and convenience made possible by Auracast™ broadcast audio.
