Not only does this platform offer unimpeded wireless connectivity, but it also supports a range of location services, such as wayfinding and point-of-interest (POI) information solutions, that are key to helping retailers interact with mobile users. Visitors who use the mobile app give The Shopping Centre insight into a wide range of customer-specific data, from the number of visitors in a zone to max/average dwell times to time-of-day analysis.

Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) is critical to enabling a high level of customer engagement. Mist says their ultimate goal with Bluetooth LE is to give customers value via The Shopping Centre’s application while streamlining business operations through better location data.
