会员 公司提交的第一份包含特定设计的产品，无论该设计是现有设计（由设计编号标识）还是新设计（在完成资格认证过程后将获得设计编号），均收取1A产品资格认证费。同一会员 公司随后提交的包含相同设计的产品将不被收取产品鉴定费。此外，会员 公司提交的任何包含子集设计（QPRD，第 3.2.2.2.1 节）或重新评估的设计（QPRD，第 3.2.2.2.2 节）的产品，将不收取产品资格认证费。
