Bluetooth technology keep offering powerful connection service. After we announced Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE became a key standard for data transfer applications and was widely used in smart bulb. In 2017, the new standard BLE mesh was published. Besides the point-to-point connection, BLE mesh can support high volume mesh network which may become a new leading standard for in-house and commercial lighting control. Bluetooth SIG also defined application layer specifications to improve interoperability. Now Bluetooth keep enhancing to meet needs of lighting industry.
