Last week saw the return of a long-awaited wireless connectivity event and expo, Bluetooth Asia. At the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Shenzhen, China, Bluetooth Asia 2025 brought together developers, industry leaders, and start-ups to inspire, innovate, and mold the global future of wireless connectivity.
Bluetooth Asia 2025 was not just the return of an event; it also celebrated how Bluetooth® technology enriches lives, makes businesses smarter, and drives entire industries forward. At the event, some of the world’s most inventive companies and people gathered to present cutting-edge applications and inspire a new wave of Bluetooth advancements that will help make the world a better place for years to come.
Bluetooth Asia 2025
Showcasing an active exhibition floor, inspirational keynotes, and the latest Bluetooth® demos and products, Bluetooth Asia 2025 gave attendees the opportunity to meet with global adopters and see firsthand how Bluetooth® technology is breaking barriers and expanding into new markets.
More than 3,500 people were in attendance to meet with 62 exhibitors and experience 26 conference sessions. “The turnout for the opening keynote: Bluetooth: creating a better world through connection, was standing room only, up to three rows deep,” said Dave Hollander, VP of marketing for the Bluetooth SIG. “It is a real testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of the Bluetooth community here, and that is why we are so excited to be back in China, home to more than 6,000 member companies and a growing, vibrant Bluetooth ecosystem.”
Throughout the event, visitors had a chance to:
- See a wide range of keynotes on everything from AI and Auracast™ broadcast audio to FindMy and digital key solutions to healthcare and industrial IoT innovations and more
- Listen to influential speakers from Barrot, Infineon, OPPO, Qualcomm, Savitech, ST, Tuya Smart, vivo, Xiaomi, and more
- Experience a broad spectrum of presentations on how Bluetooth technology can support AI, manufacturing productivity, the smart home, lighting control, electronic shelf labels, digital keys, the needs of an aging populace, and more
- Participate in demonstrations of Bluetooth® Channel Sounding, Auracast™ broadcast audio, and high data throughput (HDT)
Additionally, the conference hall for Bluetooth Asia 2025 supported Auracast™ broadcasts. Attendees could take advantage of Auracast™ broadcast audio’s assistive listening and simultaneous translation capabilities, underscoring the growing availability, adoption, and momentum of this game-changing Bluetooth feature.
UPF Testing
Co-located at the event, UPF testing took place alongside Bluetooth Asia 2025. Throughout the week, 69 participants from 32 companies performed interoperability testing on 41 platforms. Even as Bluetooth adopters are sharing their latest innovations with the world, Bluetooth developers are testing new advancements in Bluetooth technology for future expos.
That is the wonder of Bluetooth; it is more than just a technology, it is a community of some of the world’s best minds and organizations sharing a vision of creating a better world through connection — members from around the world coming together to exchange bold ideas and push the boundaries of what is possible.
The return of Bluetooth Asia
Bluetooth Asia 2025 offered insights from industry experts, opportunities to network with senior decision-makers, and immersive exhibitions showcasing how Bluetooth® technology is innovating within consumer applications and expanding into commercial and industrial sectors. It also celebrated the global Bluetooth community; demonstrated how Bluetooth® technology enriches lives, makes businesses smarter, and drives entire industries forward; and served as a reminder of the impact Bluetooth connectivity has and how it is constantly evolving to meet new market needs while creating a better world through connection.

Bluetooth Asia 2025

さらにBluetooth Asia 2025では、講演会場自体がAuracast™ブロードキャスト機能に対応しました。Auracast™ ブロードキャスト オーディオは現在急速に施設への導入やデバイスへの搭載が進む画期的なBluetooth機能で、来場者はAuracast™による聴覚補助や同時通訳などの機能を実際に体験できました。
UPFテスト
Bluetooth Asia 2025と併行して、UPFテストイベントも開催されました。1週間を通じて32社から集まった69名の参加者が、41のプラットフォームで相互運用性をテストしました。Bluetooth採用企業が最新のイノベーションを世界に発信するかたわらで、開発者はさらに未来を見据えてBluetoothの次世代技術のテストを行いました。
このような活動こそが、Bluetoothの強みです。Bluetoothは単なる技術を超え、世界中の優秀な人材や組織によるコミュニティとして「つながりの力で、より良い世界へ。」というビジョンを共有しています。大胆なアイデアを交換し、可能性の限界に挑むメンバーが世界中から集結しているのです。
