The Future is Bright (and Blue)

Description: Bluetooth has been leading the wireless connectivity industry for over 20 years. With announcements of Bluetooth mesh and the new direction feature earlier this year, Bluetooth is continuously driving innovation in the wireless solution areas for new and emerging markets. This seminar will bring you the latest Bluetooth market trends, technology update, as well as practical use cases from SIG members.

The morning session will include presentations on the possibilities of a new IoT, including new emerging markets for Bluetooth technology such as Smart Building and Smart Industry. Lori Lee, Bluetooth SIG Senior Regional Marketing Manager, APAC, will open the event and speak on “The Future is Bright (and Blue)” followed by presentations from member companies who are working on the key solution areas such location service and device networks.

The afternoon will have a focus to developers.  These sessions will introduce the skills and knowledge essential to the development of Bluetooth products, and the process of putting products on the market such as testing and qualification. The attendees will have the opportunity to deepen discussions on the future development of Bluetooth technology with innovative companies. In addition to member companies’ presentations, Kai Ren, Bluetooth SIG APAC Developer Relations Manager, will close the event, speaking on “Bluetooth Direction Finding Feature and the Latest Specification Enhancements.”
