Smart Home Summit Asia 2017 aimed to accelerate the Asian smart home development by gathering national and international stakeholders to share insights of Asian smart home market policies, initiatives, opportunities, and challenges, discuss industry standards and inspire innovation trends based on local demands and requirements.

Kai Ren, Bluetooth SIG Technical Program Manager – APAC, was invited to share his insights on Bluetooth development in the smart home and smart building vertical in his keynote address titled, “Bluetooth 5 – Build Smart Home Ecosystem.” He also joined a panel session on the second day where discussions around security and users’ privacy in the smart home industry were held. More than 120 people attended the event.
