Bluetooth SIG released Bluetooth mesh in July, 2017, enabling Bluetooth Low Energy devices to support mesh network. One of typical applications of Bluetooth mesh is for industrial control and monitoring. In addition, in January of this year, Bluetooth SIG added Direction Finding function to Bluetooth technology, and the new function will open up new markets for applications such as indoor positioning and asset tracking. At this speech, we will take you on these latest features in Bluetooth technology and how Bluetooth technology can be used to pave the way for smart industries.
