Bluetooth technology, as a major connectivity method world widely, plays an important role of IoT, it’s well adopted by audio stream, smartphone/tablet, automotive and connected device. More than that, Bluetooth mesh makes Bluetooth support mesh network topology and lighting industry is a target area for it. Moreover, the new enhancement of latest Bluetooth core specification release make Bluetooth support Direction Finding, it also has big influence on bringing value-added applications based on smart lighting platform. In this speech, Bluetooth SIG will introduce all of these new features and what can they bring to lighting industry.
