The Role

The Bluetooth SIG is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Coordinator with an emphasis on our trademark compliance program to assist with educating and enforcing the use of one of the world’s most recognizable brands. The Senior Marketing Coordinator, Brand Compliance will manage day-to-day brand enforcement duties as well as develop and create new programs to help educate licensees on the proper use of the Bluetooth brand. The Senior Marketing Coordinator, Brand Compliance should have a love for task-oriented roles, take pride in providing outstanding customer service, have an enthusiasm for brand integrity and education efforts, and be able to build relationships with organizations the Bluetooth SIG interacts with.  Meticulous attention to detail, willingness to solve hard problems, and operating independently are all highly valued skills.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Brand Management – Enforcement and Education

  • Provide input into and execute brand enforcement and education program for the defense and protection of Bluetooth trademarks worldwide, revising and updating as needed to meet current needs
  • Work with customs authorities, law enforcement and legal representatives globally in an effort to prevent the sale of counterfeit products, both online and offline, owning the relationships with each
  • Identify and remove products in violation from online retailers as part of the Online Retailer Enforcement program
  • Coordinate closely with the enforcement team on online retailer and customs enforcement efforts
  • Review and take action on Trademark Watch Notices within 24 hours of receiving them
  • Assist in creating and lead execution of proactive brand education programs to current licensees and non-licensees, including trainings and webinars
  • Assist as needed with updates to Bluetooth SIG branding materials including the brand usage guide, marketing materials, website, etc.
  • Own the monitoring and management of Bluetooth brand usage on third party sites and forums, including Wikipedia
  • Manage research for Bluetooth products and member companies being considered for promotion to ensure compliance
  • Provide input into enforcement and education program KPIs, and own ongoing tracking and monthly reporting

General Marketing Operations

  • Assist with day-to-day marketing duties and/or tasks to support the department and ensure project deadlines are met
  • Manage and maintain marketing team entries and articles in our member support knowledge base
