The audio cable was one of the first cords Bluetooth cut. Since then, Bluetooth technology has become the default way to listen to wireless audio — stripping away the hassle of wires on headsets, speakers, home entertainment devices, and more.
“Consumers see Bluetooth as being synonymous with audio. It frees you from being physically tethered,” said Sascha Segan from PC Mag.
