Meet the Bluetooth Best of CES Winners
The Bluetooth SIG called on Bluetooth SIG member companies this fall to submit their best products featuring Bluetooth technology for the 7th annual Best of CES Awards Program. Judges selected 10 finalists from a record number of entries in three different categories: Now, New, and Next. Also check out the Honorable Mentions.
Motorola MOTOACTV takes top honors in 2012 contest
The overall winner in this year's contest is overall winner is the Motorola MOTOACTV, a sophisticated fitness tracker, smart music player and training system with GPS.
This innovative device is one of the first Bluetooth Smart devices, and it’s in the health and fitness market – one of the fastest-growing new markets for Bluetooth products.
The MOTOACTV exemplifies what the new generation of Bluetooth products is about. It can support low energy devices, like a heart rate monitor, while still having all the functionality Bluetooth technology is known for, like transferring data to your phone and streaming music through your wireless ear buds.
