Bluetooth Innovation World Cup 2010: Run For Glory

Kirkland, WA, June 1, 2010 – The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) is pleased to announce the start of the second Bluetooth Innovation World Cup (IWC). After a successful first year of the competition in 2009, the trade organization is once again calling on developers, entrepreneurs and students to submit concepts for applications making use of the new Bluetooth low energy wireless technology.

2009 Bluetooth Innovator of the Year

Munich, 8 February 2010: The Bluetooth SIG awarded Edward Sazonov, Physical Activity Innovations LLC, the title of Bluetooth Innovator of the Year for 2009! Sazonov received this recognition at the official award ceremony held in-line with the Wearable Technologies Show at ispo 2010, the world’s largest trade show for sporting goods. The award includes a cash prize of €5,000 and a Bluetooth Qualification Program voucher (QDID) valued at up to US$10,000. Read the full press release here.
