Bluetooth low energy technology is the next step in the Bluetooth wireless technology evolution. Please register at www.bluetooth.org for technical specifications of Bluetooth low energy technology and start developing your idea. Win:The Bluetooth Innovator of the Year will be selected out of four finalists.
- The Bluetooth Innovator of the Year will receive €5,000 and a Bluetooth Qualification Program (QDID) voucher (For information on the QDID program please register as a Bluetooth member and take a look at the www.bluetooth.org - Bluetooth SIG membership registration is required).
- The Bluetooth Innovator of the Year and the three runners-up will get an exhibition space within the Wearable Technologies Area at ispo winter 2010, the world’s largest sporting goods trade show.
Judging Criteria:Innovation- Level of innovation (completely new idea vs. enhancements of existing solutions or transfer to new fields of application)
- Innovative combination of different technologies and Bluetooth low energy technology
Implementation- Technological feasibility of implementing idea
- Exploitation of the unique features of Bluetooth low energy technolgy
- Potential legal/patent issues
- Potential time to market
- Required investment level
Marketability- Commercial potential (e.g. target market, retail prize)
- Anticipated demand from end consumers
- Uniqueness in the market
