Bluetooth Technology
    at Extreme Heights

One of the primary goals of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) is to take the success of Bluetooth wireless technology to new heights. In 2007, this can be taken quite literally, as Johan Ernst Nilson includes Bluetooth wireless technology in his bold undertaking to climb the seven summits.

On 16 May 2007, Johan finally reached the Mount Everest summit after a difficult and dangerous ascent. On his way up, he tested various Bluetooth devices from Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Thuraya and Canon in different locations and temperatures.
